on ACADEMIA – INDUSTRY COLLABORATION

To continue with the now-well-established tradition of celebrating International Translation Day with St Jerome’s Symposium (SJS) on 30 September each year, this year’s event (SJS 2026) will be held online from 16.00 to 17.30 (CEST, UTC +2). The main theme of SJS 2026 will be academia – industry collaboration from the perspective of both parties. Thus, we will have translation teachers/scholars and industry partners sharing their viewpoints on selected aspects of collaboration.

Registered participants will be emailed the link to the meeting, and closer to the event we will be sending out the meeting schedule.
