  Invisible Intermediaries of Linguistic Worlds - In Memoriam Karin Wolff

  The conference, organised by the Academic Centre for Euroregional Studies – Research Centre for German-Polish Language Contacts at Jacob of Paradies University, in collaboration with VCPU, the Karl Dedecius Foundation, the European University Viadrina’s Language Centre, WOM Gorzów, and the Polish Language Competence and Coordination Centre in St. Marienthal/Ostritz, explores language mediation in intercultural and specialised communication.

  Focusing on translation, foreign language didactics, and linguistic interactions involving German, Polish, and other languages, the event honours Karin Wolff, a renowned translator and cultural mediator. Held in the German-Polish border region, the conference pays tribute to her legacy in fostering cross-cultural understanding.
